    Adding our own customized keyboard shortcuts in Mac OS?

    I don’t have a multitouch trackpad for my Mac so it will be good if I have my own customized keyboard shortcuts for various actions. So is it possible to add our own customized keyboard shortcuts in Mac OS? Can you tell me how to tod it?

    Open System Preferences, then go to Keyboard. Now Click on the Keyboard Shortcuts tab, then click the Plus button to add a new command to the menu. Choose whichever application you would like, be sure to enter the name of the command exactly as it appears in the menu bar. That means if there’s an ellipsis (…), include the … in your command’s name. Finally, choose your shortcut and you’re all set...... If you go to the menu bar, you now see your shortcut..

    Hi,

    If you wanna add keyboard shortcuts to your MAC then you have to follow these many steps given below :-

    1. First of all you have to go to "system preferences". Here You will have two option key board and mouse.
    2. Click on "Keyboard shortcuts" tab
    3. After you have done this you have to click on + and then after choose the application which you want to add.
    4. You can find it in the "Application" box
    5. Now select the menu title or command and then after you have to choose the shortcut you want to use.

    If you still not able to make then shoot your problem here again and we will try to sort it out.

    If you want to know that how to adding our own customize keyboard shortcut in MAC Operating system....So you just see all steps and then try it your self...
    Les's have a look .....

    First of all you have to go to "system preferences". And then here you will have two option key board and mouse...And then click on "Keyboard shortcuts" tab...After that you have done this you have to click on + and then after choose the application which you want to add. Now at the end you can find it in the "Application" box...And at last just select the menu title or command and then after you have to choose the shortcut you want to use.....

    ## For solve this issue you need to launch "system preferences",

    ## And then it display 2 two option key board and mouse,

    ## In that you need to click on "Keyboard shortcuts" option,

    ## And then you need to click on plus (+) button,

    ## After that you need to select application which you want to add,

    ## And then you need to find and click on "Application" check box

    ## After that you need to select the menu title,

    ## Now create shortcut you want to use,

    ## That's it.

    * Ya , it is possible ...! and I will let you know how to add our own customised key board shortcuts in mac os...

    * Please be aware of the exact spelling and punctuation for the item which you are going to create a keyboard shortcut...

    * Go to System preferences..

    * Then you will find a Keyboard icon

    * Click Keyboard shortcuts in the keyboard screen...

    * You will find a + or - button

    * Click + button -> select application -> Give menu title -> Give your keyboard shortcut of your wish -> After this click Add

    * Now you are done and you will notice your keyboard shortcut working.........!!!

    I have the solution for your problem it is:-

    1.Firstly click on the option 'System Preferences'.

    2.Now a new window will open.

    3.Then you navigate to the 'Keyboard and mouse'.

    4.After that you go to 'Keyboard shortcuts'.

    5.There under all the applications click on '+' option.

    6.Now select all the options which type of shortcut do you want.

    7.At last click 'Add'.

    That's it by doing as i said you can add any type of keyboard shortcut.

    So dear first of all go and turn on your mac Os and then just go to the home screen on a desktop...After that just go to the settings tab...After that click on the system preferences option...And then choose the keyboard shortcut...And then Enter the shortcut name...Now at the end just click on to add option.and then click on to OK option.

    This is simple to create when you understand the following steps.

    <> 01 <> Choose Apple Menu and then press on the System Preferences.


    <> 02 <> Now click on Keyboard Shortcuts from Keyboard and then press on Add (+) symbol to add.


    <> 03 <> Click on the required keyboard shortcut in the keyboard shortcut field and give the key combination that you want to assign to the menu command and click ADD.

    <> 04 <> Then now quit the application and restart the application to see the keyboard shortcut in the application menu.

    Command+C=Copy Selected item in the Clipboard


    Command+A=select all the items in front Finder
    Control+B=Move one character backward

    Control+D=Delete the character in-front of the Cursor



    Command+Option+A=Deselect all

    Command+Control+Power=Restart your Mac

    Command+Option+Media Eject=Make your Mac to sleep


    Command+Shift+A=Open Application Folder

    Command+Shift+C=Open the Computer Window
