Battery drains quickly in Macbook Air with Mountain Lion

On my Macbook Air, its full battery drains in no time. Recently, I updated my Macbook Air with Mountain Lion and I have noticed that battery gets drained quickly. Is it some inbuilt problem, please suggest?

    Hi,

See the main job of the battery is to store the charge and then utilize this stored charge in order to operate the system.
In your case,it seems that the battery has dried out and as a result it has lost the ability to store any charge.
I don't think this happened due to an update.
You need to replace the old batteries with new one time to time.
So I will suggest you to get a new battery and use it!
You won't face any battery drainage problem in the near future!

    Bye!
