Black window issue in iCal and Mail app after Mountain Lion update

I have updated my Mac to the latest Mountain Lion OS and now I get this black window coming up behind the iCal and Mail application at times but not all the time and it goes off if I quit and restart the application again. What might be the issue? How to fix it now? Is it an issue with Mountain Lion update?

Re: Black window issue in iCal and Mail app after Mountain Lion update

As of now it looks that the black window issue is coming only after the Mountain Lion update but still there is workaround to fix this problem which is nothing but the repair permissions option from your Mac. Follow the steps given below,

STEP 1: Open up the Disk Utility application which is located in /Applications/Utilities

STEP 2: Select the option First Aid from there.

STEP 3: Now in the left pane -> Select the volume which needs to run the Repair permission in your case do it for all the drive.

STEP 4: Just select the option Repair disk permission button which will solve all the related issues with it.

So once you have done this restart your Mac once and check if things are fine without the black window which you probably won’t be getting it from now on.

    Friend,

For the black screen problem you have to
    follow the steps:

=) This the compatibility issue so need to wait for time for responding the program.

=) Try to repair the disk permission.

=) Try to reinstall the i cal and mail applications.

=) Otherwise restart the Mac system and then check the black screen goes or not.
