    Changing mail settings to show mails in HTML and text in Mac

    I was able to view the mails in text mode in the Mac Mail app but now the issue is I am not able to see them in HTML mode where some mails do come in the HTML looks really bad. What should I do for making it view that way? Kindly give me the information for doing it? Thanks.

    Yes there is a workaround which you can do to actually to fix this issue and get back seeing the Mail in HTML mode. Just follow the steps given below,

    STEP 1: Now back up all the data before doing the below steps so that you can restore anytime if some problem is there too.

    STEP 2: Quit the mail application if it is opened before.

    STEP 3: Now open the terminal from the Mac.

    STEP 4: Type in the content as “defaults delete com.apple.mail PreferPlainText”

    STEP 5: Now quit the terminal and relaunch the mail application after restarting the your Mac.

    Now you can see that the HTML based Mail application will be opening without any issues.

    Friend, you can set the mail settings by default and it is done by below steps.

    :: Open the terminal window from it.

    :: Now here you type in the command “defaults delete com.apple.mail Prefer Plain text”.

    :: And then press enter.

    :: Now you can launch the mail apps, you can see; your mails are now in HTML.

    Hi friend,

    You can easily change the mail settings to show mails in HTML and TEXT in mac system.Implement the below steps for done this option.

    +++ Steps to change mail settings in mac device :

    1. First of all turn on the mac system.

    2. Backup the all data stored before implementing the process using any backup application.

    3. Close the mail application that you opened before.

    4. Tap and open the terminal option.

    5. In this terminal again type default deletecom.apple.mail prefer plan text.

    6. After done the above process again launch the mail application and check the process done or it.

    If not go to the mail settings and select the basic html option and save.

    Close the mail app .

    back up the data before opening terminal .

    Now open the terminal and type default deletecom.apple.mail prefer plain text

    quit the terminal .

    Restart your device and launch the mail app.

    Hello Friend

    In the apple Mail go to mail and select the preferences.

    Now click on the "Accounts" tab.

    Now create new IMAP account to IF your current Cruz mail account indicates it is POP.

    Now you will change the your existing IMAP account settings form Cruzmail to Google mail.

    Now you will create a new IMAP account and click the on the + icon at the bottom left and walk through the set up wizard using the settings.

    Now you will change your existing curzmail account.
