Clicking on System Preferences does nothing on Mac OS X Lion

Through Apple icon on home screen, from the list when I click on System Preferences nothing is opened. What should I do now in order to fix this problem, I have tried restarting the machine but this didn't helped me. What can I do now to open the System preferences on my machine?

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say..........................................

1.This can be the problem of the virus.

2.So you install the best antivirus software and scan your Mac using it.

3.If still you have the problem then this can b the problem of the Mac OS X.

4.The Mac OS files may be damaged so the System Preferences is not opening.

5.So you try to perform Restore in your device or update the OS to fix this problem.

I hope by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

    All the best.......................
