Disk is full error when trying to unzip files in the drive on Mac

This issue comes up only when I try to unzip some files in my Mac where it gives the error message as “Drive is full” but there is more that 150+ GB space available. Why this error shows up now? What should I do now to resolve this error and fix my Mac?

Hello FriendYou will open the finder window and navigate to the file you wish to zip up.Now give the right click the item and select the compress from the pop up menu. The name of the item you select will appear after the word compress. So the actual menu item will read compress the item name. The Archive utility will zip the selected file a progress bar will display while the compression is occurring. The original file will be left intact . You will find the compressed version in the same folder as the original withe .zip appended to its name.

    Hello My dear Friend ...

There is a Solution for your problem

Un zipping the File --- Un compressing the Files

So there is a Full procedure with me ..

So Un compressing a file with a Max OS X is a Simple Process

First of all LOCATE THE COMPRESSED FOLDER THAT YOU WANT TO UNZIP

The File Extension is " .zip " and the icon has a picture of Zipper

So double click the icon of the File to begin Unzipping the File

So select the Newly Uncompressed created folder

There you can Double click to Access the contents

    That is it

    VERY GOOD LUCK

You are facing problem with a message disc is full while unzipping the zip file.

You also know there is so much free space in your disc.

But ensure that you are unzipping the files in that drive.

When you double click on the zip file then system asks for the folder location where the files will be stored.

So that time you have to choose that drive which have good free space in it.

So this will not create any disc full problem.

Also you should protect your mac from virus files.

Regular update of antivirus defination and regular system scan with antivirus should be done.

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...................

1.May be the drive where the file is present may be filled up totally.

2.So you try to move that file to the another drive which has much space.

3.Then there you try to unzip it.

4.Still if you have the problem then this is your OS problem.

5.So you try to perform Restore using Time Machine.

    All the best......................
