Am able to cut a folder and then when am trying to paste the same in the required location am getting the error code 36 and the folder won't copies instead it moves back to the earlier location, I have tried with many folders in different directories but no joy. Please help me by providing a solution to this error.

Make sure that you had created a safe folder in correct place.
You can not move any such folder which has a error.
Or
Click on the desktop , CMD + J, change arrange by none, close the window, and see if that fixes your problem.
Paste is always grayed out until you have selected an item and used CMD+C to copy.
This will activate your paste command.

First of all select the folder.
Now click the right button.
Now you will select the cut button.
Now open the another window.
In that empty place click the right button again.
Now you will just select the paste button.
Now the folder will be moved one place to another.

i want to tell you . first the select the folder . you now click the right button. and then you select the cut option . and then you now open the another window. in the empty space .and click the right the button.and then select the paste option . and i think the folder will be moved your one place to another.

You are facing this issue because of the moving folders files are running at present.f you want to move without error you need to close files in folders which are running and proceed to move.Follow the below instructions to move.
+++ Steps to follow to move the folders from one location to another location in mac without error :
1. First of all close the all runnings files or application in mac.
2. Now locate the folders which you want to move.
3. Select the folder which you want to move to other location.
4. After selecting tap the options by clicking right click on mouse.
5. In options find and tap the cut option.
6. Now locate the place where you want to move and tap the options.
7. In options find and tap the paste option.
That's it..Selected folder changed to new location in mac os x 10.5.2.
