    Error: "hfs_getnewvnode: bad ca_blocks" while opening Mail App on Macbook with OS X 10.6

    The mail app not opening on my macbook which is running on Mac OS X 10.6, and instead of opening it is returning an error message that is Error: "hfs_getnewvnode: bad ca_blocks". I don't understand what does this error mean and am unable to figure out the cause here, please help me soon to fix this error and get my Mail app.

    Hi.............,

    There are certain versions of the mac mail which can not be opened here.
    Try opening the version of the mail located in the application folder on your computer. You can also click on help option further.

    Many user has complained that after updating the software mac mail is not working.
    This is just because mail version is not for the all software.
    You need to put program you have moved back to application folder where updates looks for them. Then re run the security update and proof that my mail now works again.
