    File: 'com.apple.finder.plist' disappeared from Preferences on Mac OS X 10.7.8

    I couldn't find the 'com.apple.finder.plist' file under Home > Preferences and due to this having issues with the finder. Some of the applications will work and some won't. Is there any method to restore this missing file and solve the problems with the finder? Hope you respond soon.

    This is only done when you have a previous backup file.

    Restore the missing file from the backup using Time Machine:

    :: Launch the Time Machine.

    :: Once the machine is open then you have to select "restore" from the backup disk option.

    :: After doing this you select "Stora Time Machine" in the "Stora".

    :: Now it ask for the “Name and Password “Box so you will be provide the details.

    :: Now the machine start to restore the file from the backup OK.

    :: By doing this your missing files is restore.

    Otherwise you can factory reset your device.
