I am trying to download a game from the Mac App Store which is about 7GB and currently my Mac as 10GB of free space and when I try to download it gives me the error as “There is not enough disk space available to install the product”. Why it’s showing this error when the disk space is available? Kindly give me the solution.

    Hello Friend,

When We Have Download The Any Software So Software/Game Size : Assume 7 GB. But When We Have Installed That Games/Software So That Need The Some Extra Space Means 7 GB Software Want The Approx. 15 GB Free Space. Because In The Software File, Many Files Are Packed In The Single File But When We Have Installed So All Files Are Extracted And Takes Places So That Is Want The More Free Space.

So Firstly Check The System Requirement In The Game After That Make All The Setting According To Game Need.....

I Hope That Info Is Helpfully

    Hello dear............

Download will be stored in downloads or somewhere in c drive.
So, open desktop if you have any multimedia or softwares there then cut them and paste in other drive's
Where desktop will come's under C drive.
Then uninstall the heavy and unnecessary apps....this will reduce the load on your processor and increases the disk free space...

I hope that 15GB free space is enough for downloading the game........

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...........

1.As you have only 10 GB free space your Mac may be not allowing you to download such a big game.

2.Because after downloading when you install it will expand more and it will require more space than you have.

3.So you try to delete the other big games or software's if you want to install this game.

4.Later you try to downloading now you will not get any type of 'errors.

5.Or you increase your storage capacity by using a external hard disk which will be helpful to you.

    All the best....................
