    Fix for GoFlex USB Hard drive detecting issues in Mountain Lion?

    I bought a new 1TB GoFlex USB Hard drive recently and the problem is it is not getting mounted in Mac which runs with Mountain Lion but it just works fine with other PCs. What might be the problem behind this? Can you please give me a fix for this issue? Thanks.

    For the drivers issue with Mac you have to follow the steps:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    :: Check the driver compatibility issue ,so need to wait for time for responding the program.

    :: Try to repair the disk permission.

    :: Try to reinstall the driver that having the problem.

    :: Else uninstall the driver.

    Hello friend,

    I have the solution for your problem just do as i say............

    1.Firstly check the power connection of the port.

    2.Then you check that your Hard Drive is working finely or not.

    3.You go to the 'System preferences' and the to the 'Disk Utility'.

    4.There you can find that your hard drive will be detected.

    If it is not detected there then the problem is with your USB drivers.

    So you try to update your USB drivers or re-install them in your Mac.

    Now your USB hard drive will get detected.

    I hope by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

    All the best...................
