Fix for hard disk space issue in Mountain Lion?

I am facing some issues with my Mac which runs with Mountain Lion, initially the disk space was full in the primary partition, so I removed all the videos and music from it but even after removing it from the hard disk/trash it still says the disk space if full. What might be the problem? Can you please help me to fix this issue?

The issue is due to harddisk data so first of all delete some file from your harddisk and create some empty space. Than scan your harddisk with good quality antivirus like avasth, vista etc than restart your mac than your problem will be solved.

    Dear friend..

I think there are some hidden files and folders are still present in your Mac drive after removing videos and music and due to this, the space is still full.

The best option for you to get out of this problem is to :-

    1. first find the hidden files, software or games in your drive and delete them all.
    2. If there is nothing hidden in Mac drive, then format the drive is the last option. By quick format the hard disk, you can empty or clear all the used space in your Mac hard disk.

    This definitely works for you.
    Thanks and all the best..

Re: Fix for hard disk space issue in Mountain Lion?

    Dear Friend..

There are some temporary files in your Mac which you can't find,
The solution for this is to format that whole driver where you saved all this data.
After format the hard disk, just check the space again.
You will get some free space now but if you find that the problem still persist, then format all the hard disk of your Mac or try to scan your Hard Disk with a suitable anti-virus,

    Thanks

    Hello Guest..

    I got your problem.

What happens when you save some heavy data in your hard disk for a very long time and remove or relocate from its original destination which you save few times back, it will occupy some space and this space gets bigger and bigger with some collection of files,

So you don't need to worry about this,
    Its a very easy process.

What you need to do now is to remove or relocate those files which you want and then format that whole drive from where the earlier data was saved.

If you do not wish the same, then also checked that whether there are some hidden file or some data is there or not, if it is their then delete it also.
This can clear all the space in your hard disk...

    Thanks

Re: Fix for hard disk space issue in Mountain Lion?

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...............

1.The files which you have deleted or of may be less space.

2.So even if you have deleted them showing that disk was full.

3.So you go to that drive and search for the large unwanted files.

4.Remove them and then from the Trash also.

5.If still if you have any problem then the problem may be with the virus.

6.So you install the best antivirus software and then scan your Mac.

7.If still you have any problem then you re-install your OS.

    All the best..........
