Fixing Used space problem in Mac with BootCamp?

I was thinking to install the Windows OS in my Mac so was doing that with BootCamp but once after the space allocation I quit the setup in the middle and now the partition which was taken is shown as used space which is part of Mac partition and I am not able to use it at all. What should I do to get that locked space back? Please give me the fix for it?

    Hello Guest,

To delete Windows and the Windows partition and recover the space used by it follow these steps:

    1. Shut down the bootcamp application.
    2. Start up in Mac OS X.
    3. End all open applications and log out any other users on your system.
    4. Open Boot Camp Assistant.
    5. Select “Create or remove a Windows partition” and click Continue.
    6. Then select the disk which has the windows partition in it.
    7. If you have only one partition then select restore.
