    How to stop frequent restarts on iMac 8, 2 with OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard?

    I have an Apple iMac 8,2 which is currently using Snow Leopard 10.6.8 OS X. And now my device restarting many number of times without my interaction, I have not set any settings for this restarts. Here is my configuration iMac released in 2008 with 2.66GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB ram. Provide a fix to my restarting problem.

    Follow these instructions:-
    Try to reinstall your original RAM to decide whether the culprit is the new RAM or something else.
    repair disk permissions

    To solve that problem i suggest you these steps...

    ===>Turn on your Mac system and press F2 key on the keyboard while you system is on booting.
    ===>After pressing a key you will get the Mac system recovery window.
    ===>Under that window select the Recovery option and press Enter.
    ===>After pressing Enter key the Mac system recovery will start.
    ===>System recovery will take few minute, just wait.
    ===>After system recovery your problem will solve.

    Steps to stop frequent restarts on iMac 8, 2 with OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard:


    • Restart the MAC system and press function key F2 during the booting process.
    • Now the 'Mac system recovery' option will be displayed.
    • Now choose the 'Recovery option' and enter and the recovery process will begin.
    • After a few minutes the process is completed.

    Hi friend,

    If you mac system frequently restarts without you permission then this is because of existence of virus files in your system.You can resolve this by deleting this virus files first from your mac device.

    +++ Instructions to resolve the freequent restarts problem in imac :

    1. First of all turn on the iMac system.

    2. After turn on download and install any anti antivirus application.

    3. After install restart the iMac system once and open the previously installed application.

    4. Now in application find and tap the scan option.

    5. After tapping wait until it completes the scan process.

    6. Select the detected virus files and delete them by tapping delete option.

    7. Finally restart the system once to resolve the issue completely.
