    HP Scanning problem with Mac

I have HP Photosmart 7510 printer + scanner with me and now when I try to scan a document it just scans only half of the image but not the entire image. Why is this happening? Tried with another printer and it also the same issue. So something to do with the Mac setting for this? What should be done for it?

    ============================

    Hi,

I think you need to change the settings of the printer.
You need to change the settings to "Scan Full Document"
Once you'll do this, the printer will scan the whole document.

    Bye!

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say............

1.Firstly check the page which you have inserted may be shaded at one side.

2.And you make sure that you have inserted the paper correctly.

3.If that is not the problem then the problem may be with the software or settings.

4.If it was the problem of the software then you have to uninstall it's driver and install them again.

5.Even if you cannot able to fix your problem try to change the settings in your computer.

6.there will be some settings in printer also so make sure that you have setted it alright.

I hope by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

    All the best..............

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Troubleshoot:

:: First you need to check the printer/scanner whether is connecting properly to the system or not.

:: Try to add again the printer/scanner device and for that open the preference tap and search the HP printer/scanner
under the printer option. Now try to delete and then add the printer again.

:: Then try to restart the Mac system and then Check it is working or not

:: If not then disconnect the printer and then reset the printing system and for that you need to trash
    the folder HP-scanner .

:: Then connect the printer again and check it is working or not.

:: Check the ink level also.

    Dear Friend...

There are two things you can do to solve this issue because as far I have concern with this problem, there is nothing serious about this.

    1. First you try to remove all the related drivers of your scanner and printer and then re-install then again just to check or confirm that whether it is really a driver issue or not.
If the issue has been resolved, then it definitely a drivers issue.

    2. If not, then check it out all the cables and USB and unplugged from your MacBook device and power supply. Check all the cables that is there any faulty cable is there or not, if yes, then replace it with new one and try to scan the document now.

If you still find any problem, then it might be possible that there is some hardware issue in your device. Contact with your manufacturer and replace the device as soon as possible before its warranty period.

    Thank you...
