iMessages won’t deliver for the first time in Mountain Lion

Whenever I try to send messages from the iMessage application it will just simply fail for the first time in my Mac which was upgraded with Mountain Lion recently and I am not able to find a fix for this issue. Can someone provide me the resolution for this problem? Thanks.
