I have Mountain Lion already running in my Macbook Pro and now I am trying to install Windows 7 in top of it with the help of Boot camp software but the problem is when I try to install it gives the following error when trying to install in the partition “The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved” also it asks me to backup the disk.

What does it mean? What should I do now? Can you please give me the steps to follow for installing Windows 7 properly in my Macbook Pro?

    Dear Friend..

For installing the Windows 7 in your Mac, the best option to install window 7 from after formatting the drive or after creating the disk partition.
I suggest you not to go with Boot camp software.
The best way to go with a fresh installation of the OS because Windows 7 is different from Mac OS, that's why you should go with this.

Also check the hardware configuration of your Mac so that you can get some ideas about whether you are able to install the Windows 7 or not.

    1. 1 GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
    2. 1 GB RAM (32-bit) Or 2 GB of RAM (64-bit)
    3. 16 GB of available disk space (32-bit) and 20 GB (64-bit)
    4. DirectX 9 graphics device
    5. Windows Display Driver Model 1.0 or higher driver

These are the needed hardware requirements for installing the Windows 7 OS in your MacBook.

    Thank you..

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...........

First of all you need the minimum of two local drives divided in your
Mac to create a dual boot.

You cannot install the Windows 7 and the Mac OS in the same drive.
It will definitely show some error when you try to install the Windows
    in the same drive.

If you have the two drives and cannot able to install Windows 7.
Try to install through 'Boot Camp Assistant'.

And you also require the following minimum requirements to install
    Windows 7 in your Mac.

    1GB Ram for 32-bit, 2-GB Ram for 64-bit.
    16 GB for 32-bit, 20 GB for 64-bit.
    Direct X 9.0 or higher,

I hope it will help you to solve your problem.

    Dear Friend...

You choose a very wring way to install the windows 7 OS in your Mac via Boot Camp.
I tell you that Boot camp is a kind of medium which always comes the above mentioned error because Boot camp its not easy ways to install any OS and also not clear to every one that what steps a user need to follow,
So just skip this step, forget about all the errors and try this.

For installing Windows 7 in a MacBook, we need following supported hardware configurations which are as follows:-

Minimum Requirements for Installing Windows 7.

    1. 1 GHz processor

    2. 1 GB RAM or more
    3. 16 GB of available disk space
    4. 512 MB graphic card

If you have the following requirements in your MacBook, then you can easily install the Windows 7 OS in Mac.

You just insert the Windows 7 CD in your disc drive, restart your Mac, press any key when the Mac boots,
Then select the hard disk where you want to install the OS, format the hard disk and the files start copying automatically.
Once the files gets copied, the installation will begin, in between, the Mac restart with a continuous interval of time.

When the installations completes, then complete the formality, filled all the admin details, set time, date and other fields and the the WINDOWS 7 is ready to use.
Don't forget to install the Anti-Virus.

    That's all from my side,
    Have a nice day.
    Thank you...
