It looks like you have launched Gimp and that's why you can't delete it.
So Quit Gimp and try Uninstall it.
If that fails too, reboot your Mac and try again.

If you have installed Gimp to your Applications directory, then just drag it's icon to the Trash and delete unless you installed it to your hard drive.
If you install it to your hard drive then search for leftover files and delete them.

    Hello Friend,

Error 61 Means Access Defined, That Is Happened When We Have Not Authorized For The Accessing The Source And For The Action.

    Solution :

    >> Just Restart The System

    >> Than Log In MAC OS In The Administrator Account
    >> After That Right Click On Te GIMP Editor Icon And Choose The "Show Package Contents"
    >> Than You See All The Files/Package Of GIMP Editor In The Folder
    >> So Select All And Right Click And Click On "Move To Trash" Option
    >> And Some Files Also Stored In Preferences Folder
    >> So Go To : (~/Library/Preferences/) And Deleted All GIMP Editor
    >> After That Right Click On The GIMP Editor Icon And Click On The "Move To Trash" Option
    >> And Restart The System

I Hope That Info Is Usefully

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...........

1.Firstly make your Mac turn on.

2.Then you go to the location where the 'GIMP Photo editor' was installed.

3.Then you minimize your window now.

4.Then you select all the files of that 'GIMP Photo editor' software.

5.Then you move those files to the 'Trash'.

If it is not possible then you download and install the 'AppDelete' software in your mac. You can download it by going to the website 'http://www.reggieashworth.com/appdelete

After downloading install it in your mac then by using this software you can uninstall the 'GIMP Photo editor'.

    All the best................

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:: Go to the current window.

:: Then open the “preference” tap.

:: Then search the adobe GIMP Photo editor application.

:: Now under application there is another set that is uninstall setup.

:: So you have to tap over the uninstall setup, this will uninstall the GIMP Photo editor from the MAC.

    Done..
