Instructions to follow if water spilled over Macbook?

By mistake I spilled some water in my Macbook and now it doesn't start up at all. When I try to turn it on it the LED flashes for three times and nothing happens after that. Why is it? What should I do now to fix it? Is there anyway I can recover back some files? Can you please provide me the information for it.

    ========================================

    Hi friend,

This is happening because the water is not allowing the signals to reach their destination.
See,water is acting like an insulator in this case and as a result the processor of the macbook has been affected.
Thats why the system is not starting at all.

Don't worry your files are safe.
It's just that you need to take your Mac book to apple store and get it checked by a professional.
    Everything will be fine!
    Don't worry!

And from the next,be careful and take care of your Mac Book!
    Bye!

    Hi,
You should be care about macbook when water spilled over macbook.
If water went inside the macbook it will create the short circut problem inside the macbook. So,if macbook damaged due to water then warranty option will now work.Any electronic device damaged with water is waste.
So,don't spilled the water directly first dip the wet cloth into water and clean the macbook.Make sure water should not more when you dip the cloth in water after removing cloth remove all water and clear it.You can also clean with only wet cloth.Take care water should not went inside.

the water spilled over your mac :-
1)firstly clean water from cotton cloth
2)then put your mac on your television or refrigerator where heat is there the moisture will be removed easily from the mac through heat of TV/ refrigerator it sounds stupid but this trick works .
3)now try to open your mac
4)if it opens then your problem solved
5)if not then rush to the nearest apple service center and get it repaired by professional technicians.

hope this will solve your problem

    Thank you

    Hello Sir,
Whenever your device get wet with any fluid then you should be careful during drying the device from the water.

You should remove the power source from the device first.

Also suck the water from the device with a soft cloth.

when you make sure that you have dry the device then place the power source back.

    That's all.

    thanks.

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for our problem just do as i say..............

1.Firstly remove turn off your mac.

2.Then you take a cloth and wipe the screen first.

3.Slowly remove the battery out and clean the battery.

4.And the clean the place where battery is placed it should be dry.

5.Then you also try to clean all the inner parts of your mac slowly without disturbing any circuit.

6.Then you recombine all the parts and turn on your mac.

7.Even if it doesn't work then you have to take your Mac to the apple store.

8.They change your LED screen the problem is in that only so it is turning on but screen is not turning on.

    All the best.........
