iPhone5 syncing issue with Mac iTunes

I have a Mac which is running with the Latest Mountain Lion OS and the iTunes which I have is a old version, I am not sure whether thatís the problem because I have tried updating the iTunes but it doesnít allow me to do it. Now my new iPhone5 is not getting detected at all. What should I do now? Can you please help me with this problem? I am not able to transfer any media from my Mac to iPhone5 now.

    Solution :

    >> Access The iTunes Software And Click On The Help >> Check For Update Option
    >> And Update Your iTunes And Restart The System
    >> And After The Restarting Access The iTunes And That Work Properly......

    >> Otherwise Uninstalled The iTunes Old Version And Download The New Version Of iTunes And Installed In Your System.......

    Dear Friend..

This problem might be occur as you said that updating the older version to the latest.
Because may the OS version you are using in your Mac might not be supported with your updated version of iTunes,

What you need to change now either you keep the previous version of your iTune and uninstall the updated version.
If you can't do this, then keep update your Mac OS so that every latest software can be compatible with that.

This may definitely help you dear.
    Thanks and all the best.

    Thank You..

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...........

1.Once again try to update it.

2.If it is not possible then uninstall the iTunes software first.

3.Then open any of your browser.

4.And go to the website 'http://www.filehippo.com'.

5.From there you download the iTunes software and later install it.

6.And now your iPhone 5 will work fine with this iTunes.

    All the best..........
