Issue connecting Macbook Air with TV?

I have connected the wire connection properly to Macbook Air and TV but whenever I try to check for the display it just says No devices detected. What might be the issue? Why it is not showing up or not working? Can you please give me the fix for this problem?

    Hi friend,

The following are the steps for issue connecting Macbook Air with TV.

At first you have to start your MacBook.

Now TV Turner Cable is to be connected to the MacBook along with its cable.

Then TV cable needs to be connected in TV Turner card.

After that plug in the adaptor.

There TV Turner is to be switched on.

    Dear Friend..

I think you didn't go with the proper channel.
Watching TV on MacBook can be only possible with the help of a TV Tuner Card and the way you are connecting TV is simply with cable not TV Tuner.
This is the reason why whenever you check the display, it shows you nothing and no device will be detected at that time coz TV Tuner is missing.

Kindly purchase a TV Tuner Card from a Computer Accessories shop and connect it with your MacBook Air first with the help of cables.
    This cost you around Rs.1500/-
The steps for connecting this are as follows:-

    1. Start your MacBook.
    2. Connect the TV Tuner Cable with your MacBook with its cable.
    3. Now connect the TV Cable in TV Tuner Card and plug-in the adapter.
    4. Switch on the power of TV Tuner and wait for few secs till the Mac detects.
    5. Once Mac detects the TV Signal, start find the channel with the help of the remote.

    Hope this helps now,
    Thank you...
