I have a Mac Pro which runs with the latest Mountain Lion and now facing issue with the sleep mode where its not getting wake up at all from the sleep and the only thing which I can do is to do a force shutdown and then turn it on. Is there any better solution for this? Can someone please explain?

Now the first thing which you can try for this issue is to do a NVRAM reset. If you have already done that? then just move on to the below points and workaround which will help to resolve this problem,

-> Boot your Mac by holding down the Command key + R to go into the Disk Utilities and run the scan to fix any issues.

-> Run both Repair permissions and repair disk from the Disk utilities. Once that is done close out the disk utilities and boot your Mac again.

-> Open the Finder application -> Hold down the options key and select Go from the menu which will show the hidden library option -> Select that -> Now drag the Cache and Cookies folder to trash from there.

-> Completely empty your trash and go for a restart which should fix the issue now.

    Hi..............,

Boot rapidly till you get improved solution.
    If needed update the software.
You can also run repair option anytime.
This also will save the device from errors.
From finder folder go to library and delete cache and history files.
Always have a antivirus in your device.
You can also de fragment the mac from antivirus.

    Thanks

I think you need to restore the system.

    :: Open the "Time Machine".

:: Once the machine is open then you have to select "restore" from the backup disk option.

:: After this you choose the "Stora Time Machine" in the "Stora".

:: Now it ask for the “Name and Password “Box so you will be provide the details.

:: After doing this, the machine start to restore the file from the backup OK.

:: Hope this solution work to fix the issue.
