    Macbook Air fail to open VLC Media Player

    I am in problem as in my Macbook Air it is not able to open VLC Media Player. I have restarted the system again but it didn’t help in solving the problem. What should I do next? Please share a solution.

    Kindly follow the below steps carefully

    Dude ... I think you might not have installed it properly

    And so you try to Uninstall it first

    Then go for the Complete Deletion

    After that go to the App Store

    Then search for the VLC player

    Then you need to Download the Latest version of the VLC media player

    You need to Install it then

    That is it

    Try Opening it


    You will not face any problems then

    **The reasons behind this is nothing likely to ascertain Player was not installed from right place.

    **To correct your problem you can uninstall/remove this inactive vlc player from your Mac.

    **Go to check your Internet connection before downloading apps from your play store.

    **Search play store then right fully download VLC media player and install it.

    **Next you you can restart your device to use VLC media player.

    Dear user your Mack Book Air is not in a position to open VLC Media Player.

    The reasons behind this issues may be:-

    1.I think your VLC Media player is not installed from the genuine place or installation is improper.

    2.You should uninstall or remove the present VLC media player.

    3.Use strong net connection for downloading purpose.

    4.Go to play store to download latest version VLC media player.

    5.Download and install, after that restart the device to get the

    right installation.

    Hi............,

    Many times the player do not works in mac.
    You need to re install the player from app store.
    Download a fresh player from app store using fast net connection.
    Now whenever you will use this player you can play many files.

    Do safe the device from all virus attack.
    Unsafe entry may create many problems.

    .........................Firstly make sure that your internet connection is correct and work fine.

    ............................Now go to the VLC official site.

    ...............Find the latest version of VLC player.

    ...........................Click on Downloading link.

    ..........................After clicking VLC player will download into your system.

    i want to tell you .your time to the vlc player do not work in your mac .and then you re install the vlc player software from app store .and then you download a complete fresh player from store using fast broadband connection. and then now whenever you will use this player you can play many files . but with out virus attack.vlc player .do u solve the problems.

    The problem might be occurring because:-

    -The files you are trying to play might be incompatible.


    -The files you are trying to play is corrupted.


    -The vlc player might have been crashed.


    -Update of the vlc player is required.


    The solution to your problem is:-

    -Make sure you are trying to play the compatible files.


    -If not,then convert it to the desired format using video converter.


    -Make sure the files you are trying to play is not corrupted.


    -If everything is fine,then there might be issue with the vlc player.


    -Check whether it is crashed or not.


    -If crashed,then uninstall it.


    -Download and install the latest compatible version of the vlc player.


    -Restart your system.


    -If it is not crashed,then check for its updates.


    -Install the latest available updates.


    -Restart the system.


    Your problem will be solved.

    Yeah! I have got your problem and i have solution for it...............

    1.VLC player have not installed correctly.

    2.Or some of it's files may be damaged.

    3.So the VLC player is not opening so you uninstall it.

    4.And you go to the website 'http://www.cnet.com'.

    5.From there you download and install it.

    You will download the VLC media player.

    After that set up the All files.

    Now click the any video file.

    click the right button on that folder.

    Now select the open with option.

    select the VLC media player.

    Now the video will open in the VLC media player.

    i think your vlc player is get corrupted so
    sir here is the solution of the problem.
    1 open the home menu.
    2 go to the apple store.
    3 search the new version vlc player.
    4 download it.
    5 and install this by replacing the old version.
    that`s it.

    dear i think youhave this problem in your device due to corrupted old version VLC player and it do not working properly so to solve this problem download anew version VLC player in your device and then install this you will defiantly solve this problem.

    hi,
    sir i think you have this problem in your device because of coruption of your device by virus and hence it do not working properly and when you try to install your vlc player it shows error and if you want to solve this problem then you have to apply antivirus in your device and then scan it.

    Don't worry for macbook air failes to open the VLC media player.You can resolve this by uninstall and re-install again.

    +++ Steps to follow to resolve the VLC meda player unable to open in macbook air :

    1. First of all close the all programs which you are running.

    2. Now find and tap the macbook air control panel.

    3. In control panel you will see the many options.Among this find and tap the add or remove option.

    4. Here select the VLC media player and uninstall it.

    5. After uninstall download the latest version VLC player.

    6. Now re-install the VLC player again like previous install.

    7. After install you can open the VLC player without error.

    I have the solution for your problem just do as i say.......................

    1.VLC Player will work in the Macbook Air.

    2.This may be the problem of the VLC player or the installation file.

    3.So you uninstall it from your Macbook.

    4.Then you go to the website 'http://www.cnet.com'.

    5.From there you search for the software and then download it.

    6.After downloading install it and it will work fine.

    Well friend i think you have not installed vlc media player in your mac system that is why you are facing the problem.you should follow these steps for that.
    <>first of all turn on your mac system and then go to the home screen and then uninstall the vlc media player.
    <>after that connect your mac system with internet and then go the website of mac store and from there download any new and latest version of vlc media player.
    <>now locate that and double click on that and the installation will start when it is finished restart your system.

    dear i think this player is crashed now and hence the device is not able to open it ,
    so to solve this problem follow as :
    1 remove this player from the device.
    2 then go to apple store.
    3 search there for the new version vlc player.
    4 then down;load and install it.
    5 and restart the device.
    that`s it....................

    I think that you are facing the current problem is due to VLC player in your device become corrupted so my suggestion to you is that you are un-install the current vlc media player and download the latest version from the google play store.

    For this you have simply follow some of the steps::::::::::::::>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    2. Then open the Google play store

    3. Then search the latest new version of VLC player

    4. Then find the option of download and tap on it.
