Macbook Pro becoming hot when using external monitor

I don't understand what is the problem if I connect an external monitor to my Macbook Pro, it becomes very hot in short time. My macbook pro is running on OS X 10.8. What should I do now instead of disabling the use of external monitor display? Hope you respond soon.

    Hi.............,

    Suggestions --->
    * Make sure that device has space in memory.
    * If not then make space in the internal memory.
    * Once the space is maintained total scan the device.

--> Too many files , folder, apps can cause this problem.
--> You need to delete these files so to maintain your memory.
--> Also perform disk clean up in device now.
--> Also perform the defragmentation in device.
--> If your mac is too old then visit the service center.
--> There you have to ask for the servicing of your device.

    Thanks

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For your information that Mac book battery attached with device is only for
    Mac.

    1. Device battery support all only the working of Mac-book only,if we attached the
another device to run from the Mac book,it takes load to drive the external monitor.

    2. This is the only reason to heat the battery.

    3. So always try to use the external monitor for limited time.

Re: Macbook Pro becoming hot when using external monitor

    Dear Friend...

This particular issue occurs because of two specific reasons:-

    1. Power supply Issue
    2. Cable Issue

    Solution:-

    1. MacBook device has very limited power supply which is only supported for your Mac LED Screen.
A part from this, if you connect your device with any other external monitor, then it will definitely heat up your device.
For fixing this, you must use an Stabilizer which can give you extra power supply but on the other hand, this supply can also damage your device.

    2. In most of the cases, the power cable which is used in connecting external monitor, is either duplicate or very worth due to which the wires inside the cables get burnt and the monitor get heated up.
Try to use the genuine cable which costs you around Rs.200 or more than that.

    Thank you...

    Hi friend,

Heat problem of electronic devices is common issue. You can resolve this macbook pro hot when using with external monitor to some extent by following the below instructions

---> If macbook pro becomes heat then switch for some time until heat reduces.

---> Decrease the screen light of mac to avoid the light heat.

---> Operate only single task at a time to avoid the battery consumption more an heat also.

---> Don't use the macbook pro when you kept for charging.

---> Don't play the media files through speakers always.

---> If battery problem then change to battery to avoid heat.

---> Use the macbook pro only in specified temperatures only.

Well friend the problem may be happening due to these simple reasons.
<>the battery of the system got damaged.
<>you are using the device when in charging mode.
<>you are doing so many tasks at a time.
    Solution:
<>if your device battery is damaged then go to service center and change that.
<>try to avoid using mac system when in the charging mode.
<>try to run only one task at a time.
Now you will not have the problem.thank you

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say............................

1.This is a common issue you do not worry about this.

2.As you are using the external monitor.

3.There will be a stress on the GPU so your MacBook has to work more.

4.So the MacBook is heating up soon.

5.And also maintain the surrounding temperature cool this will also keep your Mac cool.

    All the best........................
