    Hi...............,

Your system has too many player.
Mac is itself confused where to open the file.
    Delete all unimportant apps player.

** When you open the video file select open with option.
** There select the player which you can open.
** Select to remember the choice next time.

    Thanks

    Check some points:

:: Check the movies that you watch is correct format or compatible to
    QuickTime.

:: Try to install the update of QuickTime player.

:: Change the settings of QuickTime in the preference.

:: Try to reinstall the QuickTime.

    Hi..

Update the Quick time player .

and select the movie that you want to open with

make sure that it is compatible enough with the Quick time player

then right click on the movie file

and Click on open with > Quick time

Always perform the Same action .

mark on that check box .

    this will set the
    Quick time player

    as default player .

If the problem still persists then remove / uninstall the unwanted players

    and
    Quick time player

Download the latest version of the
    Quick time player

    and install it .

    Thank you..
