    You can follow the below process ... to access the System Preferences


    <> Choose Apple

    Then go to the System Preferences


    <> Go to the Application Folder

    Then go to the System preferences


    <> Go to the Dock

    Then click on the System preferences ...


    That is it

    Hello friend,


    I have the solution for your problem just do as i say............

    1.Firstly you insert the Mac OS CD into your Mac.

    2.Then you shut down your Mac.

    3.Later you start your Mac and press and hold 'Option' key.

    4.Then you select the 'DVD drive' and tap on 'Return'.

    5.Continue the procedure in mean while you select the option 'Disk Utilities'.

    6.Then your Mac will get repaired.

    7.At last your Mac will restart and your problem will be solved.

    Unable to access System Preferences on Mac OS X Lion

    I have changed the home directory name, but now I lost or misplaced few pictures on my mac os x lion machine, so changing the name to its older may restore my pics, but no am unable to access the system preferences on my machine, even if it is opened it won't stay for longer time, it will disappear immediately. What is the reason for this?
