    "Unexpected error occurred, could not complete the backup process" while backing up Mac OS X 10.6.8

    I have tried in many ways to backup my mac machine with os x 10.6.8 using Time Machine utility but it always fails returning an error. The error is "Unexpected Error occurred could not complete the backup process". I don't know how to fix this error and make a backup, please help me soon.
