Steps to get the display in monitor : If you want to get the display in Monitor in the Macbook Air Lid then you have to use the function key combination to swap monitors,.

Now you can choose the notebook monitor as my extended desktop .

And you can connect an external monitor in Laptop .

Then you can use a sequence of keys either of Fn + F3 ,F4 and all other .

Now you can get the display in Monitor .

Steps to get the display in monitor even if the Macbook Air lid is closed?

I am able to connect the monitor with my Macbook Air but the problem is whenever I close the lid the monitor also stops working. What should I do to make it work even when the lid is closed? Can you please tell me the steps to follow for changing the settings accordingly? Thanks
