    Dear Friend..

    This option can be change through your system preference but as far you are a new user, you are not clear with its functions.Before doing that, you must understand the shortcut key for logout.

    Just press :- Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Q


    A part from this, you can change these setting for making your shortcut:-

    1. Open system Preference,
    2. Here you get keyboard option, just click on the keyboard tab
    3. Now you have to press on the Add button
    4. A list with so many options comes there, choose anyone from there,
    5. Now enter the key which covert your new shortcut.
    6. Apply changes now and press ok.

    Dear,

    For changing the keyboard shortcut for logging out in mac follow these steps:

    Open the keyboard and mouse preference pane app.

    Choose keyboard shortcut option.

    Click add option.

    Choose the app.

    Click menu option.

    Click on the keys that you want to change.

    Click add option.

    It will save the new keyboard shortcut.

    So you just see my steps and then follow it....
    Let's have a look ....

    First of all go and Open your Mac OS And then open the Keyboard & Mouse Preference Pane application then..After that just click on the Keyboard shortcut tab..Now click on the Add button..And then just select the application from the panel list..Then click in the menu item, exactly as it appears in the application Now at the end just press the keys that make up the new shortcut.Then finally click add to save changes..
    You are successfully done your issue ......

    as far as concern to your problem"change the keyboard shortcut for logging out in Mac

    To log out use the following keyboard shortcut:
    Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Q
    This will log you out of your current session.

    For changing specific shortcut:
    1. Open the Keyboard & Mouse Preference Pane application then,
    2. Click on the Keyboard shortcut tab
    3. Now click on the Add button (it will looks like a (+)Plus sign)
    4. Select the application from the panel list
    5. Click in the menu item, exactly as it appears in the application (it's a text match)
    6. Press the keys that make up the new shortcut.
    7. Click add to save changes

    How to change the keyboard shortcut for logging out in Mac?

    I use photoshop software a lot in my Mac and one of the most used shortcut key in it is command+Shift+Q but this is the same for logging out from Mac too. So whenever I try to log out while using photoshop I am not able to do it. I checked in the System preferences to change the shortcut key for logout but itís not present there. How to change now? Can you please give me the solution?
