Re: Unable to run Java programs from the console in my iMac

    Hello User...

The answer of your query that the JAVA is not available in iMac now because the software is developing depends on the API at that level - but if you just want to be able to run Java applications, you might be able to make due with the Java 7u5 that is offered by Oracle.

But if you still wanna try this, then please

    1. Go to /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences.app and
    2. launch it.

It should prompt you to install.
    Hope it works.

    Thanks!

    Hello Friend

    Top
run the program, type the following command in the terminal.

    The is java
hello world. this command will start a java Virtual machine and attempt to load the class called hello world.

Once it loads that class, it will
execute the main method i mentioned earlier.

    you should see
"hello World" printed in the terminal window.

    You have also
Text Wrangler is just a text editor for OS X and has no bearing on this situation but this is not necessary.

Your unable to run java on your mac.i think it is occuring because your mac does not have java itself.this problem can be solved easily by getting java application for your mac.you have to download java application suitable for your mac.after downloading it you should install it and after that your problem is fully solved.
