    hello sir ,
    this problem in your device occurs due to the low space memory .
    and the solution of the problem follow the steps.

    1 remove the matter which are not important for you.
    2 uninstall the those application which are not in use.
    thus by doing so you will get a space for the device memory as well as RAM memory.
    now you can use your device without such problems.
    all the best.

    Re: What should I do if I am unable to open the Auto-Cad setup file in my iMac?

    ,

    dear sir i think you have this problem due to less space availability in
    your device or low ram memory .
    and when you will install your cad application in your device then it
    will shows error .
    and if you want to solve your problem then you have to uninstall the
    large size application from your device.because the large size apps takes
    the ram memory for their installation .and after that you will solve your problem .
    the ram memory for the installation of the cad software require 2 GB ram memory.

    thanks..............

    Well i think the setup you have installed in your mac is corrupt or it is not compatible with your mac.so i will suggest you to uninstall this setup from your mac and download a new and compatible version for your device and then install it in your mac.one more thing i should tell you that make sure that there are no virus files in your system.
    Thank you

    I think some files of auto cad are missing in your system.
    SO re download from the safe site.
    Auto cad once installed will provide good performance.
    Have a antivirus before download for further safety.

    Requirements ----->
    * 62 bits intel processor.
    * 4 GB RAM.
    * I5 processor is needed.
    * 1 GB graphic card.

    Thanks

    Re: What should I do if I am unable to open the Auto-Cad setup file in my iMac?

    Hello sir,
    The auto cad is software that can never be run on any device.I mean to say is that there is some demands of the software that we would have to complete for the running of software.
    So my suggestion to you is that you should have to check whether your device fulfill the requirements or not.
    As i know the requirements are::::>>>>

    ***Minimum 4 gb ram.

    ***I 5 processor.

    ***I gb graphics card.

    And for 3 d you may need ram up to 8 gb.

    So complete the requirements and enjoy the software on your device.

    Thanks.

    Re: What should I do if I am unable to open the Auto-Cad setup file in my iMac?

    Dear Friend..

    I am not 100 % sure that where the problem is actually lies but may be there is some file missing in Auto-Cad set-up.
    Many a times, website also have some incomplete files and set-up which we get to know later on that the file is corrupt.

    You need to download again from the same website, may be there is some new update available over there,
    If there is no change, then try some another website.

    As I am also giving you the link for downloading this set-up:-
    http://students.autodesk.com/?nd=mac4students

    Also follow the requirements for this Set-up.

    1. 64-bit Intel processor
    2. 3 GB of RAM (4 GB recommended)
    3. 2.5 GB free disk space for download and installation (3 GB recommended)
    4. All graphics cards on supported hardware

    Thank you..

    Make sure mac version of the Auto-cad software and if you haven't then then use VMware or Virtual box software to run windows side by side in mac and then run the Auto-cad setup file.

    Welcome to the new forum Dear...

    I think you need to refer the manual guide of the iMac system which comes at the time of purchasing.
    in this user manual, all the details regarding the hardware and software, has clearly define and written in an appropriate manner which you need to read it first.

    Thanks Dear User...
