Hello Friends .. Go to the System Preferences and check the Track pad settings . In the Mouse and Track pad you can see the option Double Click option . and you can find the Meter there. Adjust the meter to the middle and save the changes . the adjusting of the meter in the middle states that it is perfectly configured . Not High or Low if it is in the middle then the Track pad or mouse will work with good Sensitivity and work as you Expected . Save the Changes and Restart You MAC for Better Results . Thank you.

Re: Double clicking the apps not open it in my MacBook Air

    Dear..

I too had this issue and this issue is due to the factory settings of the laptop as they make it that way only and then we have to adjust it according to our choice.

The steps to sort this issue are:-

    1. Go to system preference
    2. Select Mouse and track pad
    3. You will find a horizontal bar which you can move forward and backward
    4. This is the bar from where you can adjust the setting so choose that bar and after that move it and adjust it as per your choice.

    Hope it will help

    Cheers...!!!

Re: Double clicking the apps not open it in my MacBook Air

This is one of the common problem which is quite seen in MacBook Air as it deals with the trackpad settings which is built in with the laptop. Now just try to follow and check the below given settings to make sure if everything is fine with your MacBook Air,

-> First thing which you have to do is to check the trackpad settings from System Preferences check if the Secondary Click is selected. If it is then probably you can go on with the second step as below.
-> Check the accessibility settings from System preferences and go to the option Mouse & Trackpad.
-> In the Mouse & Trackpad you can see the option called as Double-Click speed and make sure that it’s not in the extreme fast make it in the middle or slow which will enable your double-click to work properly for sure.

If you still facing problem then feel free to leave your query here to help you more in detail.
