Problem with Firefox browser in Mac Snow Leopard

I had a very old version of Mozilla Firefox browser with me in my Mac which runs with Snow Leopard and now I got the new latest version of the browser, so I have deleted the old browser. Now when I try to install the new version it says “It won’t work with the Mac OS version”. Why is that? Is this problem because of the previous uninstallation problem? Can you please guide me to fix this problem and install the latest Firefox browser? Thanks.

Re: Problem with Firefox browser in Mac Snow Leopard

    Hello Dear...

There is nothing related to your previous installation.
This message gives the clear indication that this latest version is not compatible with your Mac.
One more thing is that, there are so many browser which are not supported in Mac and Firefox is one among them.

The better option for you is to use the previous version of your Firefox which you uninstalled previously, kindly re-install again and then directly update from the web, It might be updated through this way rather installing its new version.

If this is not work, then leave it and download the most compatible version for your Mac which is SAFARI BROWSER and GOOGLE Chrome.
Both the browser works fine in Mac,

Hope this can help you somewhat.
    Thank you...

    Hello sir,

I have take a reading of the statement that you have presented to us in regarding to your query. It make me able to understand what the problem you are facing.

The solution to your problem is there::::>>>>>>

I think that there is no technical problem in the current case.According to me you simply should have to uninstall the current browser that you are using.
I say this due to the fact that there may be compatibility issue of the current browser version with the your device.

Re: Problem with Firefox browser in Mac Snow Leopard

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...........

1.Firstly the version of Firefox which you have installed is not compatible with your Mac OS.

2.So you try to install the previous version which you are using.

3.Then you try to update that Firefox software.

4.It will update to the compatible version of your OS.

5.If it is not possible then you do like as i say.........

6.Open your internet or any other browser.

7.Then you go to the website 'http://download.cnet.com/Mozilla-Fir...-10208569.html'.

8.From there you download the Firefox software.

9.Later you install that software in your Mac.

That's it by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

    All the best..............

Re: Problem with Firefox browser in Mac Snow Leopard

    Hello Friend

First of all you can download and install the latest version of Firefox from the www.moxilla.org.

You can use the software update feature from within Firefox.

You may also wish to review the Firefox release notes for your Firefox version.

    or

First of all go to a start button.

    Now select the settings option.

Now you will go and select the control panel

Now you will select the Administrative tools

And finally select the Even viewer.

In that application tap right click on the event and select properties.

Now When you report the event, you should copy the information from the log.
