Procedure to change the Time Machine backup time intervals on Mac OS X Lion?

The time machine utility on my mac os x lion computer default backup time is set to hourly backup, but I want to change it to my required period of time. When I click on edit, there is a message that am not allowed to do that action. Please help me to change that default time to my required time period.

If you think Time Machine is backing up your Mac too often, you can customize the interval between two automatic scheduled backups. I found that trick on MacYourself.
Open up a Terminal, and change the value, in seconds, of the interval (here 7200 seconds == 2 hours instead of the standard one hour):

Procedure to change the Time Machine backup time intervals on Mac OS X Lion:

    1. Launch the system preference in to Mac-book.

    2. Once the system preference is open then you have to select the “terminal” option.

    3. Now under it,type the below code:-

sudo defaults write /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.backupd-auto StartInterval -int 7200

    4. This means 2 hour interval time.
