    Re: RAM not getting detected in Mac

    Now there are some points which need to be checked before coming to a conclusion that the issue with your RAM card itself. So go through the below points to make sure if things are fine with your way of loading up the RAM to Mac,

    -> Make sure you have the right RAM with the same clock speed as the other RAM stick which was already installed in your Mac.

    -> Now you need to make sure if you have installed the RAM properly in your Mac. There will be a notch in one of the edge of the chip which helps you to ensure that it is aligned properly or not. Once you get it aligned properly just press evenly and firmly.

    -> Sometimes there might be problem with the RAM edges which need to be cleaned probably using a soft cloth or with a elastic rubber just wipe it clean and then trying putting it on the slot again.

    If none of the above helped then consider replacing the RAM with the warranty which you have and try it once again which of course will work without any issues.

    Hi friends......

    When Ram not getting Detected in Mac :

    Make Sure that your Ram is correctly placed.

    Restart your Device once .

    if still not detected then remove the Ram and clean it and place it again.

    Check for the Ram Warranty and give it to the Store ,

    if the warranty expired then Replace it with the New Ram.

    Hello friend,

    I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...............

    1.Firstly you check that the Ram which you have installed matches to your Mac hardware components.

    2.You also check that the Memory of your Ram may be exceeding more than your Mac capacity.

    3.If the above two cases was not your problem then the problem is with your Ram.

    4.Firstly check that you have connected the Ram to your Mac well.

    5.You once plugout and plugin the Ram and start your Mac i hope Ram will be detected now.

    6.Even if it is not detected then the problem is with the Ram so check your Ram is working finely or not.

    All the best...........................

    Friend.

    You have to check first that you attached the RAM is compatible to your system or not.

    After that check that you put the RAM in socket is properly or not.

    Then above is OK then check the frequency int the previous or new RAM that is same or not because it depend upon the freq.

    Otherwise best to replace the RAM ,if you have warranty card of the RAM.

    Hello

    To solve that problem you can try these steps....

    ===>Open System CPU cabinet.
    ===>Now remove the RAM chip from main Board.
    ===>Now check the Mother Board RAM holder is correct or not.
    ===>Check all the pin attached with Mother Board in valid format.
    ===>After that re-put RAM chip.
    ===>Now try to turn on your MAC system.
    ===>This time your RAM problem will solve.
