    Steps to check the complete storage allocation for Macbook Pro

    I have no idea how this is happening in my Macbook Pro where the disk space fills up very fast. I just tried trashing many unwanted files and then the disk space was free for sometime but now again some issue with it where it just occupies the free space again. Can you please give me the steps to check the complete storage allocation of data and not the drives?

    Re: Steps to check the complete storage allocation for Macbook Pro

    Now to check the complete storage allocation of your Macbook Pro just follow the steps given below,

    STEP 1: From your Macbook desktop screen -> Go to the Apple .menu.

    STEP 2: Select the option which says “About this Mac” from there.

    STEP 3: Select more info -> There will be several tabs -> Select Storage tab for the detailed view.
    Once you are done with the above steps, you can see the formal storage allocation window which shows the current usage of storage space which might be consumed most by the “other” category which can be deleted or removed from your Mac to save more space in future.

    ================================================== ================================================== =============

    =) First close all windows.

    =) Then move to the system preference menu in to Mac Book.

    =) Once the system preference menu is open then you have to select the “about” option.

    =) Now under it, choose the Storage that you want to adjust..

    =) Then here you can see the storage of data, so you can delete the unknown data from the Mac.

    =) This way you can solve out the storage problem OK.

    Done
