Steps to crop photos in Mac preview application without losing Quality?

I don't want to do the crop pictures with iPhoto application but with the normal preview in Mac but when I do the quality just goes off really bad. So is there a possibility for me to crop the photos without degrading the quality in Mac preview option? What steps need to be followed for that?

    Hello Dear Friend ...

First of all open the Image in the Preview app

It is a Pre installed app

Click on the Select button on the Toolbar

Click Rectangular Section in the Drop down menu

Click and Drag your mouse over the part of the image that you want to Keep

In the TOOLBAR .... Click TOOLS

    After that Select CROP or ( Ctrl+ K )

    That is it

    VERY GOOD LUCK

    Hi..............,

Firstly use Adobe apps to view the pics.
These apps are easily available in apple store.

You can crop the pic without degrading the quality .
So use this app to crop any pics.
Also make sure that pics are captured from known camera.
pics quality also must be fine as per the camera settings.

    Thanks
