    Steps to lock individual cells in Mac Office Excel 2008?

    I am able to lock the whole excel sheet in Mac but not the individual cells which is easy in Windows, maybe I am not aware of the steps.

    So can you please tell me the steps to lock the individual cells in Mac Office Excel 2008? Please give me the solution as soon as possible.

    * There are some differences between using Mac office and Windows office...! This is one such...!

    * If you want to lock cell , for example A1, you have to put the dollar sign in front of both column and row...!

    * For example : $A$1

    * The above is one method to lock an individual cell in Mac...!

    * The other method is by using a keyboard shortcut...!

    * You have to press Apple key + T for the same purpose...!

    * Thus you querry is solved easily ... you can follow any one of the above easy methods....!!

    Hello guest welcome to mac and osx forummac excel office is usefull extension to make spreadsheet of data in the macthe cell in this is part where we work in mac exceland you can all know about its functining initand change it control from its settinggood luck
