Touchpad failed to work after installing Mac OSX Lion on Macbook Pro

I have MacBook Pro 17", with the configuration 2.5 GHz Core 2 Duo and 2Gb of RAM. recently installed lion os on my device, then my touchpad stopped working. The click/double click, swipe option everything stopped working suddenly. I have checked and unchecked the system preferences many times, in vain.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Reason for not working the
touch pad on Mac OS X lion:-

    1. May be your
    touch pad driver is crashed.

    Solution for resolving the
    touch pad issue:-

    1. Close the running program and wait for responding to once again start the
    touch pad.

    2. Now restart the Mac so that
touch pad driver once again and running the touch pad.

    3. If again
touch pad will not work then check the driver is not crashes.

    4. For resolving the crashes issue you need to repair the
    touch pad driver.

    5. If the re-installation of driver will not fix the touch pad issue then you
    will update the driver.

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say.............

1.this may be the problem of the Touch Pad.

2.The Touch pad may be damaged.

3.If that is not your problem then the problem may be with your OS.

4.So you try to install the Os which you have used before.

5.After installing it also if the Touch pad do not work then you take it to the Apple Store.

6.And get it repaired from there.

    All the best.............................

    hi,

dear do not worry about this problem because this problem is related to your ram memory and it occurs due to installation of the large size apps in your device due to which the device do not working properly and you have the hanging problem of the device and when you will try to select the option by touching the device then you think the touch have the problem but infect this is the hanging problem of the device if you want to solve this problem then you have to reset the device thus you will be able to solve the problem.
    thanks.
