Unable to connect with Wi-Fi connection on Macbook Air

I recently updated my Macbook Air with OS X Lion 10.7.4. After the upgrade, I am unable to connect with any of the Wi-Fi router. Is this some manufacturing defect? Please suggest a solution.

2.Then only you also check that you are receiving the signal properly.

3.If you have any problem in the server then contact to your Internet Provider and check out the provide.

:: Launch system preference is open then you have to select the “Network” option.

:: Now under it, choose the “Advanced “option that you want.

:: Then here you can set the option "Manually" router settings and change the IP address.

:: And again try to connect the connection.

:: And then check your problem is solved or not
