Unable to delete files from the trash in Mac as it forces restart

I cannot seem to delete files from the Trash. The problem started happening after I tried to delete a file that was in the process of copying from one place to another and then an error occurred. The file showed up in the Trash, but it couldn't be deleted. Now when I try to delete the trash, my Mac forces me to restart and I cannot delete any of the files.

The files which are in trash are already deleted from you mac. These is no need to delete them from there. They will be automatically deletd after several hour. If your mac forces to restart than dont worry restatr it perhaps your files will be dleted after restarting.

    Dear..

    I got your issue.
This kind of problem occurs when your files has been locked in trash and that's why you also not able to delete or move the file from one side to another.
So first you have to unlock all your files and then empty or delete the trash.
Locked files can easily be deleted if you press Shift-Option or Option key combination while emptying the Trash.

    All the Best...

    thanks

Re: Unable to delete files from the trash in Mac as it forces restart

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem it is:-

Firstly restart your Mac book and later you try to remove the files from
    the Trash.

Even if it don't work then try to download a software
'Force Empty Trash'. and it's for free.
You can download this software from 'http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/10481/force-empty-trash.

It was powered by apple so it is better to install that software so that you
can easily remove the trash from your computer.

    All the best........

    Dear friend..

As you talked about some error, so that error can be fix.
Some of the files are the part of the OS which can't be deleted and you are doing the same,
Skip that file which you feel error and delete rest of the files, which are possible.

Once the files moved to trash, then press right click on the trash icon and choose empty the trash.
Now the trash files also remove.

For saving your time in emptying Trash, use SHIFT+Del as the files delete directly.

    Thank you..

Re: Unable to delete files from the trash in Mac as it forces restart

    Dear Friend..

There are some temp file and permanent files of OS which can be deleted and but some of them can't.
So the file you are trying to delete is the permanent file because the temp, files are already in the Trash but it is not possible to remove permanent file.
If you try to force delete, then your Mac OS can be corrupt.

So leave that file and empty your trash by right clicking on the trash icon and empty the trash,

    Thank you..

    Hi...............

The files which you are trying to delete may be used by your system or may be the shortcut files of the folder which you have have deleted already. So you are unable to delete them.

Or try to install the restart your Mac and then try to delete them.

Or try to download and install the Trash It software you can download it from
    www.macupdate.com/app/mac/8214/trash-it.

Then open the software and try to delete folders from this software.

    Thanks.............................
