Wi-Fi speed gets slow on connecting Thunderbolt 27

Wi-fi speed gets extremely slow on my Macbook Air when the Thunderbolt 27 is connected. When the Thunderbolt connection is removed, the speed of the Wi-Fi is again good. How can this speed issue be fixed?

The following should be must for your device, if you are fulfilled the following aspects then there is no problem will occur in respect of WiFi:

It means thunderbolt 27 takes more space than required, delete all unwanted files.

Precautions to be taken to enjoy smooth access of WiFi:
